One thing that is hugely missing here� the electronic resources of the WEHI and the neighbouring Uni (University of Melbourne) has yet to match those of UofT's.

So how am I settling into my new lab? Slowly. Mouse work takes time and really, there's only so much you can coax breeding. In the meantime, I've been doing more reading than working at the bench which is an odd feeling but I'm hoping it will pay off. It's amazing how one can finish 6 years of studying and still feel like a neophyte again.
