lizards abound
well, here is one of the lizards that we ran into on our hike down mt. stapleton. i can't say that i am a fan and of course, i'm sure the lizard didn't like us staring at it and trying to take pictures of it.
the head of the lizard is actually on the right end. this lizard is awfully wide but flat. and i have no idea if it was poisonous but i doubt it.
needless to say, i walked very fast away from it!

Was it hissing at you? Can't say that I'm fond of lizards either.
And did you get your digital camera fixed, or is this a new one?

oh, it's the old digital camera... it still takes great pics but we just can't see it until we come home. we really have to get it fixed. especially so i know when mark is filming me coming down from the mountain.

no hissing. i think i scared the lizard huge because i was stomping on the way down.
