what do you want?

after a chat with another labhead (removed from my floor and my work), i think i've come to the realization that -

i know what i want, i just have to have the guts to stick with it.

so i'll be staying in this lab. come to think about it, now that i've been able to say it - maybe i can actually put my heart into it after making this decision. besides, is it really all that bad - there are always problems in any lab that you go to, i already have my phd so i can walk away and i definitely can network well so being able to plan dinner parties will be a good asset in the future :)

i've got a great new haircut that makes me look like an aussie, am dead tired from training, it'll be 41 degrees on sunday promoting the need for an airconditioned work day, the tennis open is on (although we have yet to go), the sky is blue (at least for the next 1/2 h), AND we got home-baked cookies in the mail from the saskins! (although australian customs decided to take an exacto knife and cut through the cookies!!!)

what else could one want?
