winter olympics 2006
the winter olympics is not a big thing in australia. well, maybe that would be pretty obvious but considering how sport crazy this country is, one would think it would be higher profile. but maybe it's because people here haven't really seen real snow. speaking of snow, i can't wait to see snow!
it amazes me how much the us media is sloggin' their atheletes. i feel sorry for the athletes because sometimes, things just don't click or whatever. who knows. although i can't believe we're actually up there with the medal standings! hooray canada! and who would have thought the chinese would be up there as well - i certainly different, maybe this is a ramp up for bejing 2008.
so sad, i'll be missing the commonwealth games here in melbourne. would have been cool to see the canadian triathletes compete (jill savage, simon whitfield). but then i guess i get to watch mark in taupo in T-2 weeks. i think i'll bring pom-poms but no one say anything. anyone else have ideas about what to wear, signage to embarrass the guys?

oh... cheerleader outfits, we're going to a new level here! more suggestive i thought than the sugoi uoft shorts i was wearing!
so, if you want a saying of yours on a sign in NZ, send it to me by email and i'll make sure it goes up in NZ for all to see.

like i said before, just wear the swimming bottoms with the name "robinson" blazoned on your bum (mark should wear the "wong" one for his bum).
