The next leg of the trip: Toronto

So Toronto was busy from 8 am to evening with something to do. I flew in red-eye from Vancouver and barely got any sleep whatsoever because someone beside me decided to take up some of my seat. DAMN those people.

oh, toronto. what can i say about the cement skyline, the smog, the crisp cold air (note the missing clean adjective), the ttc streetcar that chugs along oh so slow. strangely enough, i miss it. maybe it's the people that i've left behind - maybe it's the fact, i don't get bothered when i'm running. whoever said, 'you never appreciate what you have until it's gone' is so true. friends and family really make a place home. i will have to post pictures of those i left behind later on the blog when i get my sorry butt to the scanner.

but on to some not so sad news - i BOUGHT A BIKE! yes, that's right. i have a bike that fits me and i can actually ride! it's pretty flashy, more flashy than i would have liked but i can actually ride with the others now without holding them up. it's so nice. one friend just said - 'lynn, red goes fast!' right she was, i guess. but now that i'm actually enjoying cycling again, i 'll have to get out there to bring that avg speed up! i have to mention that my parents had a large part of me getting this new bike. so thank you, thank you, thank you. :)
