blood doping, drugs and lost hope
so what is it that makes an organized professional sporting group choose to facilitate a structured, methodical blood and drug doping scheme? or a scientist decide to flip a gel horizontally? are the pressures we feel these days self-made or inflicted by society? a bit of both? by phat men who don't sleep enough? (oops, that was suppose to stay in my head)
has the basic necessities of life become so easy to gain that we have to place extraordinary goals in front of us to feel like we've accomplished something? like doing an ironman, being a world renown scientist, remembered for all time? or what about just making others feel so damn bad about themselves to make ourselves feel we are that much better?
i don't really have any answers but if someone were to ask me what i want to be when i grow up, i'd have a different answer each day. but i'd like to think that i could at least look myself in the mirror and be happy with what i see.
