the weather here is frightful...

okay, well maybe not frightful but it's certainly messed up.

for example, today we had loads of rain (we're talking the kind that gets you soaked in a couple of mins), glorious sun, wind, then more torrential rain, hail, then back to sun. when they say, you can have all four seasons in one day, they really meant it. oh, and australians don't seem to be superstitious. apparently it's quite normal to have a litter of umbrellas opened up indoors, strewn across the floor to dry. it's almost like flowers are blooming. next time, i'll take a picture so you know what i mean.
